Nuhu Diraso Gapsiso is a distinguished scholar in Journalism and New Media. He currently leads the Newspaper Research team. Previously, he served as the Head of the Department of Mass Communication at the University of Maiduguri. Recently, he became the Coordinator for the Communication, Media, and Peace Programme at the Centre for Peace Development and Diplomatic Studies, affiliated with the same university.
His research interests cover New Media, Gender, Public Relations, Print Media, and Journalism. Beyond academia, he consults for various non- governmental organizations (NGOs). With a PhD in Mass Communication, Professor Gapsiso inspires the next generation of communication professionals while promoting peace through media.
